La revista Time publicó el ranking de los 50 mejores videojuegos de toda la historia.

Para realizar el informe, se consideró entre 150 juegos nominados, se tomaban aspectos como su influencia cultural, técnica y que involucre a múltiples generaciones de jugadores, pasando de los clásicos hasta las consolas de nueva generación.

El ranking está encabezado por Tetris, seguido por Super Mario 64 y The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time.
